North Shore scored a remarkable win over United Suburbs. The previous day United Suburbs made 117 and Shore had made 41 for nine. Shore declared and got its opponents-out for 80 (Coates took six for 42). North Shore made 159 for three (Bush 54), and won with seven minutes to spare. CHRISTCHURCH, 9th November. The third round of cricket matches commenced on Saturday. Rain fell early in the day, but it cleared in the afternoon, leaving the wickets slightly softened.
