There was an enthusiastic gathering of 24 cliuss players in Mastctton on Monday last, when an old-timo fixture was revived, viz., Waiiarana North v. Wairarapa South. This pioneer match, which wits played in Musterton on the then Prince of Wales's birthday, proved exciting as well as enjoyable, the final result being Walrarupa 23%, Wellington Tourists 221/-. (Two games were played at each of the 23 "boards). For some- years past this popular Dxture has been played during the Labour Day week-end. Sir. Kelling is now endeavouring to get a Wellington touring team together, and is hopeful of receiving, sufficient support, so that this very enjoyable reunion may not bo allowed to lapse.
