Petone showed fine form, and were winners all the way. Diamonds' went down to Hospital after a particularly strenuous match. In the first division Seatoun and W.Y.M.I. drew with 0 goals each, and Marist romped home on No. 2 ground, Basin Reserve, 7 goals ahead pi Institute, who were plainly right off Diamonds now head the ladder with 14 points, Seatoun and Waterside are next with 13, and then follow: Hospital 11, WY.M.t. and Petone 9, Marist 7, and Institute 5. The indications are that institute will go down a grade next season.
