Amos Woodcock, the new "Dry" chief, will initiate a'supreme effort to make the United States a thoroughly "dry" nation. His plan is to direct the war against the larger commercial bootlegging interests, and at the same time to avoid that invasion of citizens' personal rights which has made Prohibition unpopular.
