Mr. Barend Harris returned to Wollington from Christchureli tlris moming.
Sir George Elliott and Mr. O. Nicholson, directors of the Bank of New Zealand, returned to' Auckland yesterday.
The death occurred at Taumarunui yesterday, after a short illness, of Mr. ricwnrd* L. Scldon, manager of the Hamilton branch of Messrs. Burgess, Fraser, and Co. Mr. Uelclon fo merly lived in Nelson, and he was a member of the Main Body of the N.Z.E.F., seeing service in Gallipoli. He leaves a widow and one child;,
