:'Slant and spectacular football by both teams made the Hospital-Thistle match at Hospital most exciting. Hospital were at the top of their form and Thistle, though weak in defence owing mainly to the absence of Fletcher, the goalie, showed their usual brilliance in attack, and were very troublesome to the Hospital defenders.
