TOWED TO SYDNEY
DISABLED JAPANESE STEAMER
SYDNEY, 29th May
The Japanese cargo steamer Kyokkoh Maru, adrift forty miles off Newcastle with a broken tailshaft, was taken in tow by the tug St. Olaves last night, and arrived off Sydney Heads in the morning. The sea conditions wore smooth. The vessel was drifting in a' north-westerly direction when found by the tug.
