GEORGE COOK WINS FIGHT

La Barba, the former flyweight champion. (1241b) outpointed Graham (125J1b) in a ten-round bout.* La Barba won easily against his veteran opponent. The winner is regarded as in line to meet Chocolate for the featherweight championship.
In a preliminary to the above fight Dundee (1511b), ex-welterweight champion, outpointed Parry Mason (1501b), of England, in ten rounds.
A report from Indianapolis states that George Cook (1901b) won a ten rounds decision over Wiggins (1971b), shoeing superiority throughout, although both clinched considerably and wasted a good deal of time over ineffectual body blows. Cook seemed to allow Wiggins to hang on until the tenth, when ho opened up and gave Wiggins a terrific beating. '
A Chicago messag-e states that Yon Porat knocked out Gagnon' ,in . the sixth of a scheduled ten-round bout. The winner, despite a slow-start, completely crushed Gagnon with heavy rights. He took a thoroughly impressive victory.
