TO-MORROW'S GAMES.
A good Association football game is set down for the Basin Reserve to-morrow, when the long-looked-for match between Diamond and Petone will take place. The games between • these two teams in past seasons have always possessed exciting and thrilling incidents. This year the. teams are. again evenly matched. Diamond are going all out for the championship, and will make things very lively for their opponents. .. Petone, however, are a strong combination,. and their i football is first class.. They. are. very fit and confident of defeating Diamond. The game will be a fast and strenuous one that will give supporters of both teams plenty of excitement and thrills.
On No. 2 ground the two leading teams in the second di .sion will be seen in action when Thistle and Lower Hutt will meet. .This game promises to be a. fast and attractive one.
Two 'first-class curtain-raisers will be played' at the usual time. At the Kilbirnie Stadium there will be another.senior game played; when Marist and Seatoun will' meet; •
