FARMERS' GOOD WISHES

WANGANUI, This Day.
On the motion of Mr. C. C. Jackson, chairman, the interprovincial conference of the Farmers' Union, which commenced to-day, decided to telegraph ■ its congratulations to the Hon. G. W. Forbes on his elevation to the position of Prime Minister. The chairman said it was a position of which' any New Zealand-bom man might be proud.
