"The Times's" Madrid correspondent states that Senor Guerra blamed King Alfonso for establishing the dictatorship. "He cannot hide behind constitutional irresponsibility." Speaking for himself, Senor Guerra declared that ho could no longer servo the King, whom ho compared to a decaying corpse. ■ . ; ' Senor Guerra's audience were disappointed because ho did not declare for a republic. .-: '

Politicians of all colours, keep cowardly, silence, or attempt to blame the King for the dictatorship which their own misdeeds and muddling produced.
