THE WELLINGTON CREW
'J?he report of the sole Cornwell Cup •selector (Mr.. A. G. Harvey) was presented to last night's meeting of tho Welling- ' ton' Provincial Yacht and Motor-Boat Association. N. M'Kenzie (Worser Bay -Club) and H. Stutter (Heretaunga Club) were selected as skipper and spinnaker hand, respectively of the Wellington crew to Bail in the contest, commencing on the Otago Harbour on 18th February. Mr. Harvey was congratulated on the report and on the painstaking manner in which he controlled the trials. It was decided to confirm the selection. Mr. J. Moffat was appointed manager, of the crew. The - following officials were appointed for, the Inter-club Cup race on Bth February; Judge, Sir. H. Elliot; starter, Mr. J. Moffat; time-keeper, Mr. A. G. HarJ vey; committee, Messrs. A. Aldred and C. Kiernan. ■ It was decided to sail the race for the Duncan. Cup race (Takapuna class boats) on Bth February over the same course as ■if that set lor the Inter-club Cup race, once |. -°A-ler.gthy discussion took place on the ;-position regarding the age limit for the '{' Takapuna boat races on Anniversary Day.
