The second day- of the Wairoa Baring Club's Meeting is being held in beautiful weather and the attendance is large. The track ia good. Besults:— <

Huramua Hack Handicap, of 90 bovb; one mile.—l lago, 8.12, 1; 3 Abisogne, 8.7, 2; 2 Kaokaoroa, 7.5, 3. Scratched: Outfit. "Won by one and a half lengths. Time; lmin 45 l-ssec. Carroll Memorial Handicap, of 135 soys; one mile and one furlong.—l Te Awha, 9.0, 1; 2 Outfit, 8.2, 2; 3 Tall Timber, 7.8, 3. The only starters. Won by half a length.
