There is fine ■weather for the second day of the Pahiatua Eacing Club's Meeting. There is a good attendance. Besults:— '•
Trial Plate, of 100 sovsj six furlongs and 55 yards.—2 Good Acre, 8.7, lj 1 Mirabiliary, 8.7, 2; 6 Silver Fern, 8.7, 3. All started. Won by one and a half lengths. Time, lmin 23sec.
Pongaroa Highweight Handicap, of 130 soys; seven furlongs.—l Second Thought, 9.13, 1; 5 Moepai, 9.10, 2; 7 Captain Gazeley, 9.0, 3. Scratched: The Swell, Cerf. Won by. a head. Time, 1 mm 34sec.
Eodney Hack Cup, of 125 sovsj one mile 110 yards.—9 Royal Opera (M. Gilmore), 7.5, 1; 1 Grecian (B. H. Morris), 8.8, 2; 5 General Gas (Wiggins), 17.3, 3. AH started. Won by a neck. Time, lmin 54 4.-ssec.
