For twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. this day: Winds.—South-westerly prevailing, still strong in the far north, but elsewhere light to moderate. Barometer.—Rising slowly. Seas.—Still rather rough north of Manultau, and a moderate swell on the east coast south of East Cape,;' otherwise smooth to moderate. Tides.—Moderate on the west coast; good on the east coast. Weather.—Still some scattered showers, mainly coastal, but soon improving, and otherwise fine. Temperatures becoming milder. ■
