DUNEDIN WOOL SALE
(By Telegraph.—Prsss Association.) DUNEDEST, This Day. The first Duncdin wool sale of the season opened this morning with a full bench of buyers and a catalogue of 20,000 bales. The wool generally was up to average, and the sale opened with prices firm at late rates and showing a tendency slightly in favour of sellers, due apparently to lighter condition of the wool and better halfbred wools than at the Timaru sale. Crossbreds and llerinos sold at about par with Timaru, but there was a big drop as compared with the first sale here last year, in some cases the reduction being as much as lOd. ;
