PUBLIC SERVICE SUPERANNUATION

The quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board wai held on Thursday, Mr. J. W. Maedonald presiding. Twenty-five contributors, rOtired by reason of age or length of service, were granted allowances of a total of £6193 per annum; and five contributors retired as medically unfit were grantee, allowances totalling £522 per annum. An application for a- additional allowance on account of retirement through injuries received whilst on polie- duty was refused. Thirty-four widows and thirty children were granted statutory allowances amounting o £834 per annum.
