UNION COMPANY'S HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS.

The Union Company announces that in addition to the usual sailings in the Wei--lington-Lyttelton service at Christmas time the Wahine will make special trips from Wellington on Sunday, 22nd December, at 7A5 p.m., and. Tuesday, 24th: December, at 8.15 a.m., the Maori taking the Wahine's sailing from Wellington on Monday, 23rd December, at 7.45 p.m. The trip of t|ie Wahine on the Tuesday will be a daylight one, the vessel being due at Lyttelton about 5.30 in the afternoon, and enabling passengers to connect with the night train f'or'the South. In the Wellington-Picton service the Tamahine will continue to run the usual three trips a week, leaving Wellington on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 3 p.m. From 14th December, for the rest of the summer season, she will return again from Picton on Fridays and make an extra trip from Wellington on Saturdays, leaving at 1.15 p.m., arriving back h'oiu Picton on Sunday evening. For passengers going across from Wellington on Friday or Saturday and back the following day, Sunday, a reduced return week-end fare will be charged. Christmas and New Year sailings-of the Tamahine from Wellington to Picton in lieu.of the ordinary time-table will be Tuesday, 24th December, 1.15 p.m. and 11 p.m.; Friday, 27th December, 3 p.m.; Saturday, 28th December, 1.15 p.m.; Monday, 30th December, 3 p.m.; Tuesday, 31st December, 1.15 p.m.; Thursday, 2nd January, 1,12 p.m. Excursions from Wellington to Picton will be made by the Maori on Thursday, 26th December, and the Wahine on Thursday, 2nd January, the vessels leaving Wellington at 8 a.m. and arriving back from Picton about 5.30 p.m.
