"A TRUSTED SERVANT"

AUCKLAND, This Day. Allan George Wattam', a storeman employed by the Auckland Harbour Board, was convicted on charges of stealing goods, including silk and whisky. "Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., defer-' red sentence, but refused bail, saying that the prisoner was a trusted employee and had even been sworn in as a special constable.
