EMPLOYMENT RETURNS

RUGBY, 12th November. The exports for October amounted m value to £64,500,000. For tho first ten mouths of the year they amounted to £,608,000,000, showing an increase of £8,7a0,000 compared with the same period last year. Tho imports for October amounted to £110,000,000, showing an increase of £7,500,000 compared with October last year. For the first ten months of the year they were valued at £1,007,000,000, an increase of £18,500,000 compared with me same period last year. The Ministry of Labour says that it \s estimated that on 21st October there were approximately 10,229,300 insured persons aged 16 to 64 in employment in Great^ Britain. This was 48,700 less ihan in the month before, but 260,100 more-than a year before. On 4th November there were 1,252,000 unemployed. This was 17,612 more than a week before, but 97,776 less than a year before.
