SATURDAY'S FIXTURES

•The draw for Saturday's matches in connection with the Hutt Valley lawn tennis competition is as follows:— ■ Senior A: St. Augustines v. Western, at St. Augustines; Hutt v. Eastern, at Hutt; Muritai v. St. James's, at St. James's; Methodist v. Taita, at Taita.

Senior B: Muritai v. Trentham, at Muritai; Upper Hutt v. Pononga, at Pbnonga; Knox v. St. David's, at Knox; Methodist v. St. Stephen's, at St. Stephen's. Junior A: Eastern v. Upper Hutt, at Upper. Hutt; Western v. St. James's, at Western; Trentham v. St. Angustines, at Trenthamj Koro Koro v. Central, at Cen tral; Pononga, a bye

Junior B: St. Stephen's v. Koio Koro, at Koro Koro; Methodist v. Ponqnga, at Methodist; Eastern v. St, James's, at Eastern: Knox v. Western, at Western.

All matches are timed to commence at 2 p.m. sharp.

The following are the position ol; the teams in the competition in the matter of points:— Senior A: Taita, 2; Hutt, 2; Muritai, 2; St. James's, 2; St. Augustine's, Western, Methodist, Eastern, each with no points. Senior B: Pononga, 2; St. David's, 2; Upper Hutt, 2; Muritai, 2; Knox, Methodist, Trentham, St. Stephen's, each with no points. Junior A: Central, Koro Koro, St. James's, 2 points each; Pononga, St. Augustine's, Trentham, Eastern, Western, Upper Hutt, each with no points. Junior B: Pononga, Methodist, Knox, Western, 2 points each; Eastern, Koro Koro, St. James's, St. Stephen's, each with no points.

INTER-CLUB MATCHES.

The following inter-club matches will be played at the Association Courts, Miramar, next Saturday, providing the grass courts are playable:—

Senior B Grade: Ifewtown v. Lyall Bay. Junior Grade: Wellington v. Island Bay.

Fourth Grade: Wadestown v. VictoriaMaranui v. Onepu; Rawhiti v. Rongotar University v. Puru; Talavera v. Island Bay. , Intermediate Grade: Seatoun v St Peter's; University v. Khandallah.
