CHBISTCHUBCH, This Day. At a meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Association, a motion was carried: "That it be a recommendation to the handicapper? that, whenever possible, the practice of placing horses on the six yards mark be discontinued, owing to the possibility of serious accidents." ■ '
