DTJNEDIN, This Day. The Dunedin waterside •workerspassed a resolution protesting against the decision of Mr. Justice Blair, while acting on the Arbitration Court in the absence of Mr. Justice Frazer, in. refusing to grant an increase of wages to watersiders, and against the action of Mr. Justice Blair in. not following the principles laid down by Mr. Justice Frazer in 1924 in fixing the rates of pay'for work performed'on the waterfront. If this fixation method had been adopted the Court would have been, forced to give an increase.

In view of this the onion urj»es the Government to institute a special inquiry into the wages and conditions of; watersiders throughout New Zealand.
