(Special to "The Evening Post.")
AUCKLAND, This Day. A general meeting of the Auckland section of the Post and Telegraph Employees' Association was held last night with the main object of considering the future policy. The delegates' report on. the recent efforts of the Executive Committee at Wellington to have-salaries adjusted was received.' Although there is very general dissatisfaction in the service, particularly since the Parliamentary "bonus was announced, it is understood that no drastic action is contemplated. 'Members say, that they feel they have the full sympathy of the public and do not desire to antagonise or inconvenience them during the festive season, as the dispute is not with the public but with the Uniformity Committees.
Neither confirmation nor denial could be got to-day in regard to a report that a movement is on foot to find substantial financial backing for the Labour Party when the next appeal is made to the country.
