COLLISION OX GREAT LAKES'
NEW YORK. 31st Oatober. At Chicago six sailors on board the ore carrier Senator were drcxvned when she collided with the.steamer Marqaette in the middle of the forenoon during a dense fog. The Senator was an old-time iron ship, and filled immediately, sinking in ten minute's. Captain Finch was rescued. Tiro 'ILirquottc rescued three and a passing schooner saved nine others. , The Great Lakes casualty-list during recent, storms amounts to: 315.
