United l'ress Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received 2nd November, 1 p.m.) ' WARSAW, Ist November. Marshal PUsmdski, Premier of Poland, gave the' Polish Diet an' experience of the Cromwell touch to-day. When the Budget Session opened it was known that there was a majority iv favour of no-coniidence in the Government, and that Marshal Pilsudski was determined not- to give way. A sensation was caused when ninety officers, carrying swords and revolvers, occupied tho lobby just before the sitting opened. The Speaker, regarding this as a coup d'etat, refused to open the session until the Government induced the officers to retire. When the Sergeant-at-Arms ordered the intruders to leave, the soldiers replied: "We have orders to occupy I this lobby." Marshal Pilsudski has been in conference with the Speaker, but a settlement has not been reached, and the troops are still in possession of the lobby, deputies of the Government having provided the officers with chairs.
