HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
Nicola, the famous magician and illusionist, again delighted a crowded house at His Majesty's Theatre last night with completely baffling feats of wizardry. Lightning-like transformations, amazing slelght-of-hand performances, gaol-breaking mysteries, and substitutions follow one another with bewildering ease, until tho audience is prepared for anything and accepts a handkerchief dancing "on its own" as flic most, ordinary event in the world. With excellent patter, Nicola keeps the house amused as well as entertained, and he is assisted In this way by Mr. Herman Holmberg, who also presents a few tricks of his own. Ibex, the "shadowgraph king," is another attractive porformer, his act concluding with the distracting spectacle of Nicola walking away from-his own shadow. Every item of tho three hours' programme is elaborately staged and promptly presented.
