BOYS' CRICKET LEAGUE
„„ri\° ""I".1''1' nieet;ng of the Wellington Bojs Cricket League was held in the fetop Out Clubrooms this -week, some twenty-five delegates from affiliated clubs being present.
The president, Mr. C. G. Wilson, congratulated the league on its position and on the greatly improved outlook for next season. During, his remarks, Mr. Wilson eaid that in view of outstanding amounts by clubs, the sooner unfihancial members were made to realise that unless dues were paid auch clubs would be withdrawn from the competitions the better. it would be for all concerned.
The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr.' W. E. Bock- vicepresidents, Messrs. C. G. Wilson, F. X Kelling, D. A. Ewen, H. M. M'Girr, E M. Eyan, F. M'Clusky, W. J. Bhindell, J. Haydon, W. J. Jordan, D. M'Kanzie, J. P. Corder, A. Varney, D. F. Mason, and I\. S. Johnston, and the Rev. T. F. Taylor; hon. secretary, Mr. J. Hitcheu; lion, treasurer, Mr. E. W. Osboni: management committee, Messrs. V. C. Gentry, \V. Vaney,, —. James, J. D. M'Farlnne, B. J. Dunn, J. Kcene, and L. C. Nimmo.
A motion concerning revision of rules aroused considerable discussion. It was decided that the incoming management committee should draft revised rules and
i jbmit them to a special general meeting of delegates for approvals
It is stated that several new clubs have been formed, and that there is every possibility of the number of entries being double that of last season.
