Judging by a report which came before a meeting of the Peninsula County Council yesterday, tho position of xanger holds distinct possibilities in. the direction of providing excitement. The ranger informed the council that Sirring September he had found 27 cattle wandering in the different ridings. He added that as his life had^ been threatened more than once, he thought the council should supply him with a revolver and 500 rounds of ammunition.
The report was received, but no indication, was given, that the request for arm 3 and ammunition, would be granted.
