TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION
In the House of Bepresentatives this afternoon, Mr. A. Harris (Eeforru, Waitemata) urged the Minister of Education to state whether teachers, who had not already done so, would be allowed to join the Superannuation Fund. There was said to be about 250 teachers ■who had not joined the fund, although they had at one time been given the opportunity to do'so. He knew the Minister was sympathetic, but he asked that he should say before the Education Estimates went through what he was prepared to do.
