CYCLING COMPLAINT

' CHRISTCHURCH, 31st July. The action of the New Zealand Athletic, Cycling, and Axemen's Union in allotting the New Zealand road championship to the Taranaki Centre for its round-the-mountain race was the subject o£ a strong complaint at to-night's meeting of the North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Union. This championship formerly has always been allotted to the Tnnaru-Christchnrch road race.
The New Zealand Union is to be asked to reconsider its decision. The TimaruChristchurch race will be held on sth October, and the centre will go on with its arrangements.
