KING'S THEATRE.
"i'ou Know What Sailors Are" is the title of' the main attraction in the chango of programme at the King's Theatre, which is a story of the sea and tho doings of sailors. Tho Story relates to tho adventures of the crews of two ships—ono British, one Spanish—which are loading in a South American port for London. Naturally, there is a great deal of rivalry between tho crews, and clashes are not infrequent. The Spanish mate, who is in love with his captain's daughter, is dismissed from his ship for fighting, and joins tho British ship as a leading hand, after which events move quickly. In the early stago of the race to London the Spanish steamer has tho advantage, but is overhauled by her opponent, during tho course of tho journey fire breaks out on board' the Spanish vessel, and a thrilling rescue at sea is made before ono of the vessels is blown up. Cyril M'Laglen, Alf. God«lard, and Chill Bouchier are seen in tho leading parts, and there is a strong supporting cast. The second feature, which is entitled "The Gallant Hussar," is a charming love story with a background of military life. A young Hungarian hussar falls in love with the daughter of an American millionaire, and the romantic couple undergo many adventures before they attain happiness. Ivor Novello takes the leading part and he Is supported by a strong cast. There is a good supporting programme, and tho King's Orchestra contributes pleasing musical numbers.
