RADIO EXHIBITION
MUCH INTEREST SHOWN
Tho Badio Exhibition in the Town Hall continues to be a centre of interest and will bo open until 11 to-night. The many samples of equipment amongst the exhibits are a sourco of much interest to thoso who are keen on radio, and amongst the keenest are the parties of escorted school children who have special demonstrations arranged for their benefit.
This afternoon at 4.30 o'clock Station 2YA will switch over to tho short-wave | broadcast station, 2ME, Sydney, and will rebroadcast a running description of the final Kiigby Test, All Blacks v. Australia. Tho description will be heard from several lond speakers at the exhibition and should prove a big attraction to tho general public. A promenade concert was given from the stage last night which'was fitted, up as the 2YA studio. This evouing another promenade concert will be given from the stage, and will also be broadcast. The items will bo contributed by the 2TA Orchestra, tho Melodic Four, Mrs. Winifred Birch-Johnston, Mr. Sam. Duncan, Mrs. H. G. Eeoves, Mr. James ConInell, Mr. Len Ashton, Messrs. Brown and Langtry, Mr. W. W. Marshall, and Mr. Frank Bryant. From 10.31 p.m. till 11 p.m. a dance programme will be given.
