LYALL BAY
The seventeenth annual meeting of the Lyall Bay' Bowling and Tennis Club was held last night, Mr. G. H. Noad presiding. The annual report and balance-sheet, which ivere adopted, showed a slight increase in membership, but a perusal of the accounts showed that a considerably largermembership was imperative. The year's workings showed a loss of £-71 6s sd. The loss, however, was not so real as it seemed, as £44 Is had been exepnded on the pavilion roof, arid it. also included £21.5s 6d on interest which had been made necessary to bring payments into line with the existing mortgage date. The following: officers were elected for the 'ensuing years:—President, ■ Mr. J.. Leuchers;. directors," Messrs. A. M. Johnstone, W. Leahy, M. Jones, and G. H. Coleman;- hon. secretary, Mr. W. Marshall; lion, treasurer, Mr. J. P. O'Gorman; hon. auditor, Mr. W. D. Collier; match committee, Messrs. W; D. Collier, S. Milner, F. G. Hazlewood; sole selector, Mr. G. H. Noad.
