CONFERENCE TO BE HELD (By Teleßraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHUECH, This Day. Following an appeal by the Mayor the Eev. J. K. Archer, that the matter should be dealt with in a statesmanlike manner, the City Council at a meeting last night unanimously resolved that a conference of representatives of the council, the Tramway Board, and the "Save the Square" Committee be held to consider the position arising from the Supreme Court's judgment concerning Cathedral Square.
