PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

In view of tlio extraordinary demand for admission to the sound pictures, the management of the Paramount Theatre have decided to extend the season of the current Fox movielono programme for a week. Commencing with the matinee at 2.30 this afternoon, it will be presented daily at 2.30 and nightly at S p.m., until next Thursday, 4th April, inclusive. All tho noises and sounds which would accompany the real tiling are heard in each scene, and it may well be said that the innovation of the movietone news reel has lout an entirely new interest to the gazette. One hears plainly the starter's remarks to a jockey responsible for a hold-up at tho commencement of a race. Later the applause of the spectators comes clearly. Mrs\ Coolidgn's words as she christens the newly-completed United States airship are plainly heard. Beatrice Lille is then seen and heard in a vaudeville turn, and this clever American comedienne goes through some vocal numbers to the acompaniment of clever pantomiming. The realistic production of a jazz band is another surprise. There is a hilarious talking comedy, "The Bath Between," with a dialogue of humour and comedy. The big feature is "The Air Circus," a thrilling story demonstrating the mastery of the air in brilliant (lying stunts. Louiso Dresser, David Rollins, Sue Carol, and Arthur Luke are the leading artists, and tho story tells of the youthful airmen daring the elements. The film is accompanied by tho Rosy Theatre Orchestra of 110 players, and the accompaniment is played in a manner that surpasses anything that would reasonably be expected here. The picture lias romance and drama. Tho box Plans arc at The Bristol, or seats can bo booked at the theatre.
