The Riverton Racing Club's Meeting opened in showery'weather. Thero is a good attendance. Results: —
Waiau Steeples, of 200 soys; two miles.—l Ivapuna, 10.10, 1; 3 Ngarata, 9.12, 2; 4 IJrin-go-Bragh, 9.10, 3. All started. Won by three lengths. Time, 4min 39sec.
Trial Handicap, of 125 soys; seven furlongs.—4 Barney Google, 8.6, 1; 6 Eleanor Boiling, 8.5, 2; 3 Red Boa, 8.8,3. All started. "Won by a neck. Time, lmin 35 2-ssec. ,
