HUTT VALLEY POWER

The monthly report of tho engineer oC the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board (Mr. B. Bickcrstaff), which was presented at the meeting of the board yesterday, stated that during tho period 18th February to lGth March, 67 new consumers had been connected, making the total to date 7039. The maximum demand was 3344 k.v.a. at 12 noon on Monday, 4th March, the increase over last year's corresponding demand being 50 per cent.
