CRUELTY TO A BULL

ASHBURTON, 14th March,
At the'"Magistrate's Court, Thomas Pennall, 1, a drover, was sentenced to fourteen days' hard labour on a charge of cruelty to a bull by cutting its nostrils in order to remove a ring. The animal was'at the time in a truck in the Ashbiirton railway yards.
