SUNDAY RAILWAY EXCURSIONS.
The popularity of the Sunday railway excursions was in evidence last Sunday and the Railway Department has decided to repeat them on Sunday next. The fares' are. at a very cheap rate; for instance, the return fare between Palmerston North and Wellington is 5s second class, and 7s first class. The rates between any two stations. have been correspondingly reduced. The excursion trains will run on similar times to last Sunday except that the morning' train from Palmerston North will leave five minutes earlier, i.e., 8745 "a.ni., and arrive at Wellington at. 12.15 p.m. The blackberry special to Kaitokc will be again van on Sunday next. Blackberries are very plentiful. The return fare, second class, is only 2s. An advertisement appears in another cofamn.
