POLO TOURNAMENT
THE SAVILE CUP
Polo players and followers of the game will assemble in Feilding directly after the Feilding Jockey Club's Easter Rac# Meeting for the annual Savile Cup Polo Tournament. Eleven teams have entered for the three competitions, the games for which are expected to occupy eight playing days. The premier competition will be for the Savile Cup, the other competitions being the Handicap Cup and the Junior Cup. The Feilding Polo Club has entered two teams, and there will be teams present from Christchurch, Waikato (3), Hawkes Bay (2), Southern Hawkes Bay (2), and Wairarapa. iThe first round of the. Savile Cup contest will be played on Thursday, 4th April. The polo sports and pony races will; be held on Saturday afternoon, 6th April. On Monday the annual meeting of the association will be held, and on Wednesday afternoon the final for the Savile Cup will be staged. For this match the two best teams in the Dominion will meet.
