WEDDINGS

An evening wedding took placo at St. David's Presbyterian Church, Pelone, recently, when Winifred Mary (Jean), fourth daughter of Mr. j. Shout, Breaker Bay, was married to David, youngest son of the late Mr. Dillon Gihnour, of Millorton. Tlie Rev. J. C. Loan officiated, and Mr. Bonnie was at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her father, was daintily gowned in a frock of white georgette trimmed with silver lace. An embroidered tulle veil was worn with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower' bouquet of white roses, carnations, andd maidenhair fern. Spenco received her guests, wear ir.'g a frock oil black satin, with silver tiimmings, a black Ottoman coat, and a Bankok hat trimmed with silver, her bouquet being of red roses. Among the many gue3ts were Mrs. Renhett, Mr. Rcnnett, and Miss Rennett (Palmerston), and Mr. and Mrs. Rennett (Woodville). Later Mr. and Mrs. Roberts left by car on a tour of the North Island, the latter wearing a frock of beige-coloured crepe de chine wild georgette, a beige silk coat with diamante buckles, and hat to match; also a fox i'ur, the gift of the bridegroom. _____________
