Stationery Department' in- February, ISS4; and during his 45 years as a member of tho Public Service, had varied experienco with tho Government Life Insurance Offico, tho Public Trust Of-. fice, the Public Works Departmonfc, tho Tourist Department, and the Agricultural Department.. For the last fifteen years he had been in charge of tho library of tho Agricultural Department. Ilis wide knowledge of the o.xtrcriiely varied sections of that ;impoitant library mado him a much valued ■officer of the Department, and he was highly esteemed for • his invariable courtesy and painstaking in- 1 dustry.
