It was decided by the City Council on Thursday that a deputation be appointed by the council to wait upon the Minister in Charge of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Bosearch to urge that tho land taken by the Government for Defence purposes adjacent to the Observatory at Kelburn bo handed back to the council.
