HUTT ATHLETICS
Officials of the Lower Hutt Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club must be "con--sidered as a very active lot.. They have .held successful' evening meetings this season, and now have- arrangements well in hand for an afternoon- gathering at the Lower Hutt Recreation Ground on 2nd March. A programme of I;twenty-six events has been ' drawn up. In addition to good trophy orders, special prizes are announced for several of the events, including, a set of covers^ and tubes (for the winner-of the 880 yards cycle \race); •and cups for .the Hutt Valley 100 yards' ladies' and half-mile cycle championships. Entries for tho meeting, which should be a good one, close with Mr. J. o'Sullivan or with Mr. W. Morrison, Lower Hutt, at midday on 23rd February. ■■.'■'
