Bert Barry, in a statement, says: "Confusion has arisen owing to Jack Burns, Wells, and Goodsell depositing in Sydney a stake for a raco with mo. I would liko to give Goodsell tho first chance on the Thames in June or July. Thereafter, if I win, I am willing to meet Burns hero. I could not undortako a contost with either on the Parramatta without a largor guarantee than I enro to suggest.
Tho Australian Press Association understands that Barry's idea is for a race at Sydney for £2000. ■
