Saturday was a field afternoon tor the riflemen at ■ Trentham, the occasion being the annual teams match for the KiQe Union Shields. The match Is always ono of considerable interest to local marksmen, as, besides being au honour to bo classed at tho premier riflo team in Wellington, teams' shooting is regarded the CKarorl again turned up victors in the senior, match, and wero never headed from tho commencement.
