"William Alexander Martin (26) was Admitted to probation for two years by Mr. Mosley, S.M., yesterday, for •theft of £45 12s from the mess funds of the Chriatchurch Fire Brigade. One of the conditions of probationwas that Martin should abstain from gambling and. from visiting racecourses.
