(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMEBSTON N., This Day. In the PoUgo Court Darcy Ball pleaded guilty to a ehargft of keeping a common gaming-house at Foxton. The police gave evidence that tho accused when visited on Saturday admitted making bets totalling £0. The Magistrate, Mr. Stout, commented that business would not bo nourishing with the flaxworkers. ■ Counsel for the accused said that his client did a small cash' business and now had to pay for providing conveniences for Foxton bettors. The accused was fined £3p.
