NEW YORK, 24th January. A message from Miami Beach states that Mr. Hoover, the- President-elect, has arrived for his vacation at Bell Isle, off the Florida coast, on which are the estates of several wealthy manufacturers, capitalists and lumbermen. The superintendent of all the estates on Belle Isle, Mr. Prank Buthven, is a native of Australia, who was in the Kalgoorlie district when Mr. Hoover was there many years ago, beginning his career as a mining engineer.
